I'm Milo Birk, and Home Inspectors Detroit is my life's work. After serving as a Marine, I came home to Detroit with a builder's toolbox in one hand and a mission in the other: to bring real construction expertise to every home inspection in this city I love. My journey started on the job sites of Southwest Detroit, learning framing and foundations from old-school contractors who taught me that a house tells its story through its structure. Later, I honed my analytical skills at Columbia, but my heart never left the construction site. For over 15 years, I've been in the trenches as a remodeling contractor and real estate investor across Metro Detroit—from fixing up Victorian homes in Boston-Edison to modernizing mid-century ranches in Warren. That hands-on experience is what I bring to every inspection today.
